HPCO2025 Conference Fees
HPCO Member Rate: Full Conference: $740 or One Day Only: $410*
Non-Member Rate: Full Conference: $890 or One Day Only: $475*
The non-member rate of $890 includes a one-year individual membership to Hospice Palliative Care Ontario.
*The one-day rate for Monday, June 9, does not include the Awards Gala Dinner.

Approved Lead Presenter Rate (full conference or one day): $460
This fee applies to approved Lead Presenters for this year’s conference. If you are a Lead Presenter, HPCO will send you a special registration code and instructions to complete your conference registration.
Student (Full-time): Full Conference: $500
A limited number of student spots are available. The student rate is available to full-time students in a post-secondary healthcare-related program. You will be asked to provide your student ID and program information. Please get in touch with conference@hpco.ca to confirm if you qualify for this rate. If approved, you will receive a special registration code and instructions to complete your conference registration.
Bursary Program
We offer several bursaries for this conference as part of Hospice Palliative Care Ontario’s commitment to improving inclusion and eliminating barriers for Black and Indigenous healthcare workers. Applications are encouraged from Nurses, Social Workers, Social Services Workers, or Personal Support Workers working in or with an interest in hospice palliative care in Ontario. Bursary applications close on April 30, 2025.
The Dr. Joan Lesmond Bursary for Black Healthcare Workers
The Joan Lesmond Bursary for Black Healthcare Workers is part of HPCO’s commitment to improving inclusion and eliminating barriers for Black healthcare workers. The bursary provides full registration and accommodations at HPCO’s annual conference in June. The bursary is non-transferable, awarded as a package, and may not be broken into parts or cashed out. The Dr. Joan Lesmond Bursary honours the memory and legacy of our friend, colleague, and former Board member. Joan served on the HPCO Board of Directors from 2004 to 2011. Joan was a nurse, educator, mentor, and lifelong learner.

HPCO’s Indigenous Healthcare Worker Bursary
HPCO offers an Indigenous Healthcare Worker Bursary as part of our commitment to improving inclusion and eliminating barriers for Indigenous people working in hospice palliative care. The bursary provides full registration and accommodations at HPCO’s annual conference in June. The bursary is awarded as a package and may not be broken into parts or cashed out, and is non-transferable
Important Information for All Registrants
If you are registering for the Full Conference and planning on attending the Gala Dinner, please include the Gala dinner in your agenda selections (there is no additional cost for Full Conference registrants).
All fees are subject to HST (#133412197RT001).
Payment Method:
Conference registration fees must be paid by credit card. Payment by cheque is acceptable for five or more registrations. Please contact us at conference@hpco.ca to request an invoice for a group registration.
Refund Policy: Refunds will be given for cancellation requests received in writing on or before May 1, 2025, and subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Refunds between May 2 and May 15 are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be granted after May 15, 2025. HPCO incurs costs for hotel services, food and beverage, and conference administration even if you don’t attend the conference, therefore no-shows will not be refunded under any circumstances.
