For the first time since 2014, HPCO is setting a modest increase to offset an increase in conference expenses.
Non-members who register and pay the non-member rate of $800 will receive an annual individual membership to Hospice Palliative Care Ontario.
Approved Lead Presenter Rate is applicable to approved lead presenters at this year’s conference. If you are a lead presenter, HPCO will send you a special registration code and instructions to complete your conference registration.
A limited number of student spots are available. The student rate of $400 is available to full-time students only (proof and student ID required).
The Gala Dinner on Monday, April 29 at 7:00pm is included in the full three day conference registration fee. The one day rate does not include the Gala Dinner. Additional tickets may be purchased for $85 each, if you would like to bring a guest to the event, or are not attending the full conference and wish to attend the Gala Dinner.
REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:Delegate substitution is permitted up to and including the first day of the program. A full refund will be given for cancellations received in writing by March 25, 2019. Any cancellations received after this date will be subject to a 25% administration fee (based on the fee paid). No refunds will be granted after April 10, 2019. HPCO incurs costs for hotel services, food and beverage, and conference administration even if you don’t attend conference, therefore no-shows will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Hospice Palliative Care Ontario (HPCO) reserves the right to cancel this program due to insufficient registrations and will be responsible for refunding the registration fees only.
If you are a registered social worker or social service worker attending this conference, you may be eligible for an up to $500 reimbursement for the conference registration fee.
Eligibility and Application Information:
- Be a registered member, in good standing*, of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
- Applications must be submitted within 90 days of the completion date of the PD activity.
- Proof of payment and successful completion of PD activity is required at the time of application.
- Applicants are limited to one application for one PD activity to a maximum of $500 per funding year.

*Good Standing: A member is in good standing when they are not in default of payment of a membership fee and their certificate of registration is not suspended.
